AUTO DRIVEAWAY has become widely known for its unique vehicle delivery services. Qualified drivers are carefully screened and then matched with customers' vehicles going to the same destinations. Delivering vehicles has been the business of AUTO DRIVEAWAY since the company was founded in 1952, in Philadelphia, by John F. Sohl.
AUTO DRIVEAWAY’s first customers were automobile leasing companies needing their cars moved to distant locations. Seasonal transport to and from Florida and other southern destinations quickly became the backbone of Auto Driveaway. Within eight years, the company's network expanded to 25 offices throughout the country and the headquarters moved to Chicago.
