Marangoni® Tread North America’s Newest RINGTREAD® Dealer Hosts Open House

Madison, TN (July 25 th , 2014) – Ron Elliott, Marketing and Communications Manager for Marangoni® Tread North America announced today that the newly opened Wilson County Tire and Retreading held its open house on Wednesday the 23 rd of July.

 

 

 

Bob Majewski, owner of Sumerel Tire Service in Newport, Ky., expanded his operation to Middle Tennessee this summer with the addition of this new state-of-the-art Marangoni® retread facility.

 

Rick Majewksi, is the vice president of Wilson County Tire & Retreading and is an industry veteran with over 30 years of retreading, fleet and service knowledge.

 

 

 

The open house featured a plant tour, Spot the Retread contest and an Out of Service tire demonstration. Guests were also provided lunch and could enter a drawing for the chance to win a set of eight commercial truck tires or four super singles to be retreaded using the Ringtread® (The Splice-less retread) system on the winner’s own casings.

 

 

 

The plant was filled with a variety of enthusiastic guests eager to learn about retreading using the Ringtread® (The Splice-less retread) system technology that included, Fleets, Local and State government officials, and Local as well as National media.

 

 

 

Visitors tested their knowledge and skills when they tried to spot the difference between a tire that had been retreaded using the Ringtread® (The Splice-less retread) system verses a new tire. Contestants identified the Ringtread® 70% of the time as the new tire.

 

 

 

Marangoni® and Wilson County Tire associates guided guests on a step-by-step tour that explained the process of creating a retreaded tire from delivery to finish using the Ringtread® (The Splice-less retread) system. Each station provided additional video demonstrations along with explanations from guides.

 

 

Wilson County Tire & Retreading also offers a mounted-wheel program, drive-up service and pickup and delivery.
