ALPHARETTA, Ga. (April 23, 2010) – LeasePlan USA, a leading fleet and vehicle management company, recently announced the introduction of its new Government Fleet Services program, which is a complete fleet support service designed for government fleets and their unique needs.

To spearhead its Government Fleet Services program, LeasePlan recently appointed 30-year industry veteran, Matthew P. Betz, to the position of vice president, government fleet services.

Previously, Matthew served as vice president of national account sales for AmeriFleet Transportation where he was responsible for the company’s North America sales and marketing efforts. In his position, he oversaw the development of large fleet accounts, programs to increase value in vehicle logistics and managed the company’s public relations and marketing efforts. Matthew currently serves on the boards of the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA), Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) and the Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (NETS).
